Mission and Business Model
Summarizz's mission is to simplify access to online information by enabling users to summarize text portions effectively. We offer both free and paid options for our service, and our business model relies on subscriptions without ever selling user data.
Accounts and Subscriptions
You can use Summarizz for free with basic access of 10 free summaries per month upon registration. We also offer a subscription of $5 per month for access to 10,000 monthly summaries, or the option to purchase 100 summaries for $0.99. By subscribing to a paid account, you agree to be billed automatically from the date of subscription and at each periodic renewal until cancellation. There are no refunds for paid subscriptions unless required by law.
Free Trials
Summarizz may offer free trials for new users. If you cancel your free trial before it ends, you will lose access to any remaining summaries. Typically, we offer only one free trial per user.
Your Data and Limited Permissions
User Content refers to the text and documents you select and summarize using Summarizz. You retain ownership of your User Content. Summarizz does not claim any ownership rights over it. You may use the generated summaries as you wish, including sharing or distributing them.
Data Usage
We do not retain summarized text data on our servers after processing. We only use the data to generate summaries and do not sell or rent it to third parties.
Intellectual Property Rights and Limited License
Our products are protected by copyright and trademark laws. By using Summarizz, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access our software solely for the purpose of using Summarizz features in accordance with these terms. Any attempt to reverse-engineer or decompile our software is prohibited.
AI Usage and Generated Content
When you use Summarizz to generate text summaries, the generated content may not be unique and could be similar to summaries generated for other users due to the nature of AI algorithms. Summarizz strives to provide accurate summaries but does not guarantee their accuracy.
Usage Limits and Responsibilities
Users are responsible for the security of their login information and must not share their credentials. You must use Summarizz in compliance with our terms of use and applicable laws. Summarizz is accessible to all users without any age restriction. Inactive accounts remain in our database, and users retain their accumulated summaries up to a limit of 10,000 summaries for paid accounts.
Dispute Resolution and Termination
In case of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us directly at contact@summarizz.com to try to resolve the issue amicably. Summarizz reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access in the event of a serious breach of these terms, without a specific arbitration procedure or designated jurisdiction.
Product Changes and Discontinuation
Summarizz is constantly evolving, and we may add or remove features. If we decide to discontinue a service, we will endeavor to notify you reasonably in advance and give you the opportunity to download your content if necessary.
Limitation of Liability
In countries where liability limitations are permitted, Summarizz shall in no event be liable for (i) any amount exceeding the fees you actually paid in the preceding 12 months, (ii) any loss of profits or data, or (iii) any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages.
Changes to Terms of Service
Summarizz may revise these terms to reflect changes in legislation or modifications to our products. In the event of a significant modification, we commit to notifying users in advance via a notice on our website.
Entire Agreement
These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Summarizz regarding your use of our products and services, replacing all prior agreements. These terms are designed to protect both Summarizz and its users, providing a transparent and secure framework for using our service.
